Olympus Academy Trust

Welcome from the Chief Executive Officer

Welcome to The Olympus Academy Trust.

It is a real privilege to write to you as Chief Executive Officer. Over the past academic year, I have had the honour of leading Olympus through a period of challenge, reflection and continuity. During my time as Interim CEO, my focus was on providing stability, listening carefully and staying true to the values at the heart of our Trust. I am immensely grateful to our staff, learners, families and partners for the care, trust and commitment you have shown throughout that time.

Olympus is deeply rooted in the communities we serve. Our schools sit at the heart of diverse, vibrant neighbourhoods, and we are proud to work alongside families, local partners and wider services to support children and young people to flourish. We believe education is stronger when it is connected to community, and when learners feel a real sense of belonging, identity and possibility.

As we look ahead, this next chapter is about building with confidence and intention. We have strong foundations, a clear moral purpose and dedicated people working across our schools and teams. Together, we will continue to champion inclusive, high-quality education, strengthen collaboration across our Trust, and ensure that every learner feels known, valued and supported to thrive both academically and personally.

My ambition for Olympus is clear. I want us to be a Trust where values shape decisions, where improvement is thoughtful and sustainable, and where relationships with our communities are built on trust, respect and shared responsibility. We will keep learning together, remain open to new ideas, and focus relentlessly on what makes the greatest difference for children, families and the places we serve.

Above all, Olympus is a shared endeavour. Your voice, ideas and partnership matter, and I look forward to working alongside you as we shape the future of The Olympus Academy Trust together.

Being part of a group of schools brings with it robust challenge and support as well as opportunities to share provision and central costs.

Our Identity

Each of our schools has its own unique identity within the values and ethos of Olympus. Headteachers are responsible for their school and accountable for outcomes. Being part of a group of schools brings with it robust challenge and support as well as opportunities to share provision and central costs.

The name Olympus originates from the Olympus Concorde engine. This is significant because it was designed and produced locally and therefore links to our vision of providing an excellent standard of education for all children and families in our area.

As a local organisation, we exist for the benefit of the communities we serve.

We are always keen to work with other schools, primary and secondary, encouraging them to join the partnership to develop and strengthen our local educational offer.
