The Olympus Academy Trust was set up in 2012 by founding member Bradley Stoke Community School.
It is a charitable Trust. Since then several schools have joined the partnership as follows:
Bradley Stoke Community School
Abbeywood Community School
Meadowbrook and Charborough Road Primary Schools
Stoke Lodge, Filton Hill and Callicroft Primary Schools
Patchway Community School
Bradley Stoke secondary also grew to be an all-through school with its own primary phase in September 2015.
Each of our schools has its own unique identity within the values and ethos of OAT. Headteachers are responsible for their school and accountable for outcomes. Being part of a group of schools brings with it robust challenge and support as well as opportunities to share provision and central costs.
The name Olympus originates from the Olympus Concorde engine. This is significant because it was designed and produced locally and therefore links to our vision of providing an excellent standard of education for all children and families in our area.
As a local organisation, we exist for the benefit of the communities we serve.
We are always keen to work with other schools, primary and secondary, encouraging them to join the partnership to develop and strengthen our local educational offer.
