Olympus Governance Diversity Data
Diversity within the Governance Community
At Olympus, we believe that diversity is the cornerstone of strong governance. Our Governance Community brings together individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to ensure that decision-making is inclusive, transparent, and representative of the communities we serve.
In line with DfE guidance, we are committed to collecting and publishing diversity information about our governance structures. The Department for Education encourages governing boards to be increasingly reflective of the communities they serve and recommends that diversity data is made widely accessible to members of the school community and the public. This includes characteristics such as age, gender, and ethnicity, while ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and respecting individual choice to opt out of sharing personal information.
By embracing diversity in all its forms—cultural, professional, and personal—we strengthen our ability to innovate, adapt, and uphold the highest standards of integrity and accountability. We use this data responsibly to inform recruitment, training, and development, ensuring our governance reflects the communities we serve.
