GCSE results 2025 from Abbeywood Community School
Congratulations to the class of 2025 at Abbeywood Community School who have achieved strong GCSE results, including grades 7-9 across a wide range of subjects, as well as many 5-9 grades in English and Maths. Over 77% of students achieved a grade 4 or above in English, and 67% of students secured a grade 4-9 in both English and Maths. Over 20% of students achieved grade 7s in both English and Maths.
These formal examination results reflect the strength in teaching and positive student attitudes at Abbeywood, and with the school’s expansion works set to be completed in January 2026 to cater for the increased demand in places it continues to be an exciting time at Abbeywood. Following on from an improved and successful set of 2025 A Level and vocational results last week, it is great to see another set of strong GCSE results.
Headline figures this year continue to show stability in outcomes, Headteacher Benjamin Dilley commented: “I am incredibly proud of the hard work and ambition shown by our students throughout their GCSEs and delighted with their achievements. I am grateful to the dedication of our staff and believe the outcomes are further evidence of the supportive learning environment we strive to provide. Sitting behind a strong overall set of results are many stories of individual success which are the product of the combined team effort at Abbeywood working alongside students and parents to enable all to achieve success. We are looking ahead with confidence and enthusiasm, continuing to support our students in reaching their full potential as they join our Post 16 centre. “
