GCSE results 2025 from Patchway Community School

Year 11 students at Patchway Community School have achieved the best outcomes since before the Covid-19 pandemic. All attainment and progress measures have improved but our middle and higher attaining students and our students with special educational needs have improved the most.

All our amazing students worked hard and have been rewarded with results they truly deserved. Individually, some students achieved exceptional results including Victor Samuel who gained 8 grade 9’s and 3 grade 8’s and Tayo Babalola who gained 6 grade 9’s and 4 grade 8’s. Isabelle Gunningham and Sophie Levene both deserve a special mention for their fantastic results too.

Headteacher Steve Kneller said: “I am delighted for our students who have achieved some excellent results. As a school we have improved in every headline measure and these results are amongst the best the school has seen for many years signifying significant improvements. We will be continuing to strive for even more improvements in the future as we believe our students are capable of achieving even greater success. More importantly, students have achieved the grades they need to move on to their next stage in their education, employment or training. These outcomes are down to the student’s hard work and dedication, the support of their families and the brilliant staff we have at Patchway Community School.”

Deputy CEO of the Olympus Academy Trust, Claire Banks, commented: “We’re incredibly proud of our students who received their GCSE results today. Their hard work and resilience have truly paid off. These results reflect the strength of our school communities and the dedication of our staff. Congratulations to all students, families, and staff who supported this journey. We wish every student continued success in their next steps.”
