Olympus Trust Careers Fair - 14th October 2024

We were delighted to host the first Olympus Trust Careers Fair, which took place on 14th October 2024. The event was designed to showcase exciting opportunities for students and parents alike. We invited them to explore a range of career paths and meet with representatives from various industries who were eager to share their insights and experiences and over 700 families took up the opportunity.

The fair featured a diverse selection of exhibitors, providing a varied array of options for those considering their future careers and also Post 16, college, apprenticeship and university opportunities.  Attendees had the chance to engage in meaningful conversations, attend informative workshops, and gain valuable knowledge about potential career trajectories. This was an excellent opportunity for families and employers to come together and discuss the possibilities that lie ahead.

We encouraged all parents to attend and support their children in discovering the exciting opportunities available to them. The Olympus Trust is committed to fostering a supportive environment where students can explore their interests and aspirations.  We were so pleased that so many families joined us on this important day to help shape the future of our young people. 

We were also very proud to welcome back ex students to represent their employers and pass on their knowledge and experience of the world of work - Lily from Dick Lovett, Ellie from Occupational Therapy, George from Da Vere Tortworth Court, Mark from University of Gloucestershire and Ollie from McDonalds.  A very big thank you to all our wonderful exhibitors who attended and took part in this event.
