Security Alert at Winterbourne Academy
This morning, Monday 26 January 2026, Winterbourne Academy received a security threat. This happened before the school day had started and as students were arriving to school. The school invoked its evacuation procedures and directed students to the evacuation points. Police are on site and all staff and students are safe.

Following the security threat at Winterbourne Academy this morning, Monday 26 January 2026, we can confirm that due to the swift action of our staff and Police, students and staff have now returned to the building.
